A cloaked figure boldly stepped out behind Salvin, a smile gracing obviously female lips. Her hand reached out and...
*THWAP*
Krindaria laughed at her brother's surprised and indignant look and casually took the seat next to him pulling off her cloak and pack and setting them at her feet, making herself comfortable as waited for Salvin to quit rubbing the back of his head and seat himself back down. Seeing the two, it was obvious they were not only siblings but fraternal ones, looking so much alike that in the armor they wore one would be hard pressed to tell which one was male and which female.
"About time you showed up," she proclaimed. "Do you know how many blasted halflings and dwarves have already hit on me in the last week while I roamed around like a tourist waiting?"
Salvin chuckled darkly, "Well, you always did attract them. I seem to remember a certain dungeon and a dwarf that adamantly refused to remove himself from your pantleg. Of course, he was rather drunk but..."
"Hush." Krindaria grimaced goodnaturedly, then looked up in interest as the waitress placed her brothers order before him.
Like a snake, her hand shot out and grabbed a fine slice of cheese and proceeded to nibble on it while her brother grumbled and pulled his plate forward.
"Greetings, Fair One," she smiled and introduced herself to the waitress cheekily. "My name is Krindaria, would you be so kind as to bring me the same as this vagabond here ...but with a nice white wine instead of milk please?"
"Of course," the maid replied, taking the coins Salvin had laid out for his own meal and his quiet thanks as well before turning to go back into the kitchen.
"So, brother mine, it's been two seasons and my coinpurse is getting a tad less full, it's time for some fun," she grinned mischeviously.Salvin groaned.____________/ooc Pardon the ooc. Being as salvin and I are true friends and this is how we wish to play in the game and I did a lil research and came up with your guild *I had posted as Silk on the forums and received a nice PM about your guild when I had posted my LFguild needs* please do not hesistate to join in edit: I just can't get my mind around being Sylvin instead of Krin, so that's who I'll have on here.
Aristoblis watched the two from the darkness of his corner. Rarely did his eyes miss anything, and today was no exception. The fact that they were kin was unmistakable, but what had piqued his curiosity was their intent. They were certainly not common travelers, so what was it that they were after here in Stormreach? Aristoblis lifted his goblet to his lips and took a sip. He placed the cup back on the table and continued to scan the room but found his gaze returning to the two time and again.
Whisp smiled from her position in the shadows by the fire place. The tavern had been quiet of late and gloom seemed to hang in the air. Familiar faces had been seen less often or had left all together, but now there was these two. Mischievous! That was the word that came to her mind when she saw the two obvious siblings together. A part they looked like trouble makers, together pure and utter chaos. The tavern could use some stirring up and these two seemed like the right two to do it.
Whisp gave a subtle signal to all those under her command to watch the two, but not to interfere unless she gave the signal. She wanted to see what the two had in mind before she sprung any trap. But curiosity was getting the better of her, and she did want to see what the two had to offer. So slender elf meandered over to the two, signaled to the barkeep for her usual, and pulled up a chair.
“Welcome to the Troll Head Tavern strangers. Let me guess you two are related. It is always good to see when families reunite. But where are my manners.” The elf gives her most warm and inviting smile.
“The name is Whisp. Whisp Wander.” The bar wench brought over Whisp’s ornate silver flask, from which Whisp took a quick swig.
“What might I call ye and what mischief brings you to these neck of the woods young siblings.”
“Welcometo the Troll Head Tavern strangers. Let me guess you two are related. It is always good to see when families reunite. But where are mymanners.” The elf gives her most warm and inviting smile.
"My apolagize my lady. Here let me grab a chair for you." quicklyscouting the floor Salvin was to late as Krindaria pulled a chair froma more vantage spot. Grumbling softly Salvin could only see that hissibling did in fact have mischief in her eye.
"Salvin is my name as well my sister Krindaria. We are from the tree of Legendary, but not so famous as the words may sound."
"As for buisness my Lady we have been guided that the Troll's Head is aplace to not only look for employment, but find friends for thefuture." Krindaria said almost sounding in sync after Salvin's sentence.
Whisp could only believe that the two humans standing in front of hermust hold some psycic ability from how they both knew what to say andwhen to say something.
Salvin smerkedfeeling gratful for a new face to see. It is a known fact to him that the morefaces in Krindaria's sight the less attention he will see from her. Thewaitress came through the doors leaving a glass of wine for Krindariaas Krindaria kept snaking her way to Salvin's plate giving off acharming smile to Whisp to join them in the now shared meal. Salvinbeing use to Krindaira antics he could only chuckle at her from hisseat. Taking the seat that was offered Whisp only smiled and bowed herhead settleing her flask in a secret pocket that neither Salvin orKrindaria noticed.
Krindaria chuckled quietly as she let her brother pay for her meal then turned her attention to Whisp as she took another sip of her wine. It wasn't the best, but far from being the worst tasting wine she'd had in her travels."Yes, myself I've been travelling alone for awhile for pleasure while waiting on Salvin to get done with...well, whatever he was doing," she stated, then turned to her brother and talked quieter for a moment. "You do plan on finally telling me where you just had to go right?"Salvin just grinned back. His sister was far less patient than he was and well he knew it and used it for his own amusement. The womans eyes rolled and turned back to their guest. "Anyways, our plans are just what we said....well, plus add good food, good wine, good fun, good everything."She had perused the tavern when she had originally entered, noting the patrons and general outlay of the place and now waved her hand around negligently, her eyes again sweeping over the room. Mostly regulars but not too crowded for the time of day. A couple of the more interesting inhabitants had been enough to ensure her that the tavern was not your everyday watering hole-in-wall, but why they had been steered towards this particular place...well, they'd surely find out. Olladra would fare them well enough in this place she figured."As for mischief...well, I can assure you I am a right proper citizen and have never been in trouble a day of my life," Krin stated with a straight face. She ignored the trickle of milk that escaped her brothers snort.
I do not like the looks of this, Aristoblis thinks. Whisp has signaled an alert, which could only mean potential trouble.
Aristoblis readied himself. He slid his chair back from the table slowly and called forward in his mind the words of a Hold Person spell. If things did go bad perhaps he could bring them to a halt before the pair did something they might regret…with their lives.
