'Carefully Lilly,' she thought. Getting him to remove his helmet was a feat of it's own but if he was anything like her former love, Deriaz, any bit of joking might make him put the mask back on.  Straightening herself she took her lesson with much appreciation and respect for her teacher.

Has Versatillas recited the words of the song she did her best to pronounce them the same way he did. She excepted criticisms and took what suggestions and ideas he did offer her.

Time flew quickly and soon her lesson was over. Versatillas fingers lifted off the last word of the song has Lilly spoke it perfectly. "Very good," he said  has he turned to her. "  You're an apt pupil.  Was that the last song?-" His question suddenly stopped short has he jerked his hand from the corner of the page and then pressed his index finger into his mouth. Removing it shortly there after he stared down at the thin neatly made slice that the paper had made. Tiny droplets of red began to spot his dark skin.

Lilly reached over, her hand glowing softly of a healing aura. She didn't say anything has she offered to mend the tiny nuisance of a cut, instead placing her attention on the music notes of the song Versatillas had just taught her. Has she let out a slow sigh and took in another breath her lips began to move.

Music echoed threw the hallway.

Lilly's smile was like an infectious thing, growing more and more and taking a hold of others so smiles would tug at their faces as well. She was most pleased with herself for having learned a new song, and even more so from gaining the reaction Versatillas had given her.

"Forgive me for being so bold, sir," she tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, "but it would appear that you most certainly spend to much of your time with your books and scrolls and not nearly enough time with pretty young women if you must be asking me what such a song is about." Her smile didn't change as she spun around once, held her hands out before her and then asked, "would you like to dance?" She continued chirping the song.

Having feet stepped on by elven toes was far more pleasant then her last dancing partner, who's mere foot steps would make the ground crack and quake. Her feet where thankful for not being crushed.

Slowly she pushed Versatillas into keeping in rhythm with her though she tried not to appear like she was leading their waltz like dance. Slowly spinning, leaning in close and then quickly pulling away, turning them into their lazy circle about the little room.

Eventually their song would come to and end and so would the dance. Lilly bowed to her dance partner.“I think you should teach me this spell,” she said has she lifted her head. She enjoyed the faint echoing music that still lingered in the air. “Perhaps tomorrow you could to show me?” Their dance had ended beside her things and she reached over to collect her book and placed it close to her chest. “I'd like that, if you could that is.”

"You're tired. Get some rest." Lilly said has she bowed out of the room, declining his offer. "I'm sure you'll need it for whatever place you venture tomorrow. My room is just downstairs in the eastern wing. Come find me when you return."

She bowed to Versatillas again, "thank you for translating the song for me, and for teaching me the words." Her checks flushed slightly, "and for the dance. Good night."
