The door to the Trolls Head Tavern opened late in the night, as the tavern was ready to start closing. An elf with dark gray skin walked in, with two raipers at his side. He had long white hair, and lavender eyes that did not belong to the mortal body. He caried a troubled, tired expression on his face.
As he walked in he looked around the tavern, and frowned as he saw none that he wished to seek. So he sat at the bar.
Sammet, the bartender, took out a glass and put it down n front of the new comer.
"Wha would ya like to drink sir?" Sammet asked, but as he looked up he paused.
"Sho? Sho Drizzin? Is that really you?" he asked.
"Yes old friend it's me." said the stranger named Sho.
"Where have you been all this time. It's been more than a summer since I last saw you, or has the fellowship." Sammet asked.
Sho gave a weak smile.
"I'll be happy to tell of my adventures, but if I might have some food first? I have not eaten for a while."
"Of coarse! I'll cook up some eggs, and meat, and rum your favorite if I might recall." Sammet spoke quickly, and rushed off.
"Thank you Sammet." Sho spoke weakly.
After the food was served, Sho ate fast, as if he had not eaten for a month. When he ate, Sammet noticed small pathes of light gray scales on Sho's face. Also two small, and pointy bumps oon his head. Sammet also remembered Sho being all happy, and cheery even in the face of danger. Now, it lookedd as though it took Sho all his strength to smile.
When Sho finished, he told Sammet his adventures over all seas, and many lands. How hard his missions were, and how crazy his clients were. But none of Sho's words covered the changes, and even though Sammet wanted to know really bad, but he didn't ask.
"...being a merc is fun, but being away from home and the fellowship was really hard." Sho said finishing his statement.
"So you back here to stay?" Sammet asked.
"No, I have one more job to get done before I can rest for a while, I stopped here only to see Hope and the fellowship. It's been awhile, and I have something to discuss with her, Whisp, Aristoblis, and other fellows."
They are away right now, but should be back." Sammet said. "While you wait, rest here and relax, you look like you need it."
Sho smiled a weak thanks to Sammet.
"Thank you mifriend. Rest sounds good now" Sho said and tried to rest, but his eyes keep looking toward the door, waiting...
