Seeing no retaliation from the patrons, the elf made his way to an empty corner, the white wolf close behind him. A moment after he had sat, a waiter came up to him. The elf passed a few coins, then the waiter left to come back with a small tankard of ale, and two bowls of hot soup, one of which the elf placed on the floor beside his lupine companion.

The elf was more than happy to entertain the the small stranger, as he motioned for him to sit down.

"Y'sar and I thank you, though I would ask your name and how it is you know mine, as I have not spoke it since I entered this tavern." He smiled calmly at his new companion. Y'sar turned her attention to the chunk of meat that was brought to her by the barmaid.
