Welcome to The Order of Aessina

<Malore, leader of the Order of Aessina meets with Kaldorei priests. Malore had dreamed of this meeting and felt it a sign as to the direction the Order should take at this time. After much discussion, regarding Malore's dreams of late, a path is chosen. One of the priests, a brother to the Hunter who raised Malore, had been the "Holder of the Order" long before Malore's birth. At this time, Malore once more asks him to be the "Holder of the Order," the one who guards the scrolls. It is time for the Order to go deep into the forest once more and for Malore to head down a different path. With the ceremony completed, Malore walks away, no longer as leader of the Order of Aessina, but rather as simply Malore, a Kaldorei rogue. Malore smiles, knowing a good decision has been made and feels a freedom that he has not known for a long while.>

(( We are an Alliance roleplaying guild of the Cenarion Circle. While we respect and support various forms of play (raids, pvp, etc.), first and foremost we are about roleplaying. We attempt to interact and respond appropriately for our character and the environment. Our guild chat is In Character (IC), while we have a separate Out of Character (OOC) chat for those who wish to hang out and talk casually. We make distinctions between IC and OOC. We enter the World of Warcraft for entertainment and to have fun. We hope all enjoy the experience.))

An ancient fellowship of ones dedicated to the protection of the lands of Kalimdor and those of its allies. We banded together against fierce enemies such as, the Burning Legion, as well as, others who would be merciless in their seeking of corrupt power. Originally, the order was solely composed of Night Elves, but has grown over time to embrace all races who have a shared vision.

The Kaldorei (Children of the Stars in our tongue), or Night Elves as we became to be known, worship the Moon Goddess, Elune. We befriended Cenarius, a mighty demigod of the primordial forestlands who spent a great deal of time teaching us about the natural world. Night Elves developed a strong empathy for the living forests of Kalimdor and revel in the harmonious balance of nature.

While our lands were ravaged and we fought against the Burning Legion, we survived due to the grace of Moon Goddess, Elune and many strong leaders: Arch Druid Malfurion Stormrage; High Priestess of Elune, Tyrande Whisperwind, the Huntress; Cenarius; and others.

From the depths of the forests, a Wilderness Spirit, Aessina gave aid to those who sought to ensure the survival of the lands. Her teachings were allied with Elune and Cenarius who strove for a balance of the natural world. Dryads and others of like mind, created a Shrine to Aessina.

Long ago, a band of Night Elves were praying for their homelands. Aessina appeared to them and offered her guidance. They formed a guild named, “The Order of Aessina” and vowed their allegiance to efforts that were for the good of the lands, for the good of Kalimdor. Corrupt enemies pursued members of the order and murdered many of them over time. Yet, several survived to train and teach new generations.

The Order is open and welcomes all races. The Order of Aessina reaches out to others who share the commitment to fight against corruption with good strong hearts, minds and spirits. To band together as loyal, brave and supportive members of the order who enjoy each others company while they adventure in our lands. It is not the items or glory that make us whole in our lands, rather the times and laughter we share. The Order seeks a balance of nature, defense of homelands, and to have good adventures with those within.
