Of course, this is dedicated to Castor.

From a UPI.com news article:

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 9 (UPI) -- A Missouri lawsuit against the Kansas City Royals claims a man required three surgeries...to correct the damage after a foil-wrapped hot dog thrown by mascot Sluggerrr, portrayed at the time by Byron Shores, struck him in the face at a Sept. 8, 2009, game

...

Shores, who said he was fired in October 2009 for unknown reasons, testified he does not remember the throw and did not know about the man's injury until after his tenure as Sluggerrr ended.

The trial is ongoing.

Remember, kids: it is all fun and games until someone gets their eye put out with a hot dog! :-/

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

From the same news network (which FYI boasts as their slogan "over 100 years of journalistic excellence"):

Monkeys in Pirate Suits Confiscated in LA

NEW ORLEANS, March 2 (UPI) -- Louisiana wildlife officials confiscated four monkeys in pirate costumes from an autistic woman visiting New Orleans for Carnival...

For anyone wondering, I know it sounds hard to believe, but monkeys in pirate suits do not "meet the Americans with Disabilities Act's definition of service animals."
