Tia stepped out of the building to the sounds of trumpets blaring. The enemy was at the gates and this was WAR!

Straightening her sword at her waist, she quickly scanned her pack – did she have all the supplies she needed… potions, arrows, food for George, her pet bear. At a sound she looked up. With pride she saw her friends start coming out of the Inn from behind her. Not 10 minutes before they had all been relaxing in the Beer Garden, enjoying their favorite brews and reminiscing of their latest hunts. Now she looked out and watched as her friends, her fellow Tah, gathered their weapons and prepared to defend our great city to the death if necessary!

There was Sokreteas organizing the troops, always the man in charge. Zarta was nearby, conversing with our allies, ensuring their support and knowing we will watch over each other. Spaier over to the side watching over the lesser experienced Tah friends, making sure they were prepared. None will be left behind! Onyxx and Anabelle were gathering supplies, Braj and Elalia were distributing potions to those necessary. What a team!

Looking to the left – yes there is Omenn and Moirtan, talking with Julther. Either his sign language is getting better – or we are getting better at reading him - I suspect the later. All of our friends leap to action when the time is right, Tia felt such pride and yes even anticipation – even going up against the odds - nothing can stand in our way! There was Vardok, Zurahk and Gleanhoof, and yes all her comrades stand at the ready. When will the counterattack begin? Anticipation rings in the air.

But wait – over all the noise, she could here the call. Her blood surging, Tia pulled out her sword and dagger, held them up high and yelled out with all of her friends in one great voice “FOR THE HORDE!” and rushed forward.

The battle had begun . . .
