House Mor'Aldaron as it is currently known will cease to exsist.  The reasons are many, but of little consequence now.  In honor we will finish what was begun. 
From within our ranks, a new guild will arise.  Lead by those true of heart, and strong of ambition.  Go ye Mor'Aldarons, and seek out the Lady Zaelira, and Lord Maelgrym.  Represent the histories of our House with nobility and courage.  Assist these allies of the Mor'Aldaron way in rising to glory!  Do this, and what was Mor'Aldaron will never die.  For it will be carried forth in the hearts of all who have shared time honorably with us.
I send with each of you my blessing, as such as it is.  And regret my absense all the more.  But I trust that my friendship to you all will nea be forgotten.  As such, the archives here will remain open to those who were present at the end of times.  And contact will be maintained no matter what realm we adventure in. 
To that effect, the site will change to include information on a variety of games, and all shall be welcome to hop from one reality to another to join the friends made here should they wish it.

Disianus Al'azure, War Prince no more.

In the last weeks of June, much has changed.  Many we trusted and called friend have left us to strike out on their own.  There is anger, sadness, confusion at this loss.  Why would they leave.  What reason can possibly justify the damage and pain of this turn of events.  I have given them time to post explanations and goodbyes.  Even so, no words can console.  Offers of continued friendship, though respectful and honorable cannot repair.  I speak not for each individual here or there.  But for myself, friendship.  No.  True friendship, would have included communication.  Nothing that was given as reason justified the actions taken.  Nothing that was given as a reason was outside the realm of resolution.  However.  What is done, is now done.
In this storm of betrayal, I nearly lost heart.  I nearly surrendered to the pain of trust misplaced.  And no disrepsect intended for the most part, to those who left us. They are indeed good people, and have done many a great things with and for our guild.  However, despite the cost, the choice was made to sacrifice the friendships and trusts established in this home.  This is what hurt the most.  For this, I nearly lost faith.  In people.  In trust.  In the difficulties that must be surmounted to build a successful guild.  The defining attribute being the interpersonal loyalties that call people to stand beside a guild or a guildmate when such action does not benifit ones self personally.  Yet time and again, we choose in our own ways to do so.  So it was, in my despair that I found a new home for each of our guildmates, should they have choosen to take it, and in turn closed the doors on Mor'Aldaron for good.  This because I tire of wounds to my back.  Wounds that if friendship were as real as it is proposed, could have been avoided by merely talking to me up front.   The number 1 rule in friendship, in love, in life.. is Honesty.  No matter how difficult it is to surmount the fear of how news will be taken, it is always best to speak plainly.  For the hurt otherwise is tenfold.  This lesson I know in my heart at 30.  I consider myself lucky to know this lesson so early in my life as to be compared.
None the less, I will spair you my tirade of emotion on the subject and apologize for my already overly lengthy discourse.  House Mor'Aldaron stays.  It stays because there are those who recognize the worth of the ideal of the house.  Those that will not for any reason surrender such worth.  Those that will fight beside, and onwards in the name of something that is not even remotely related to playing a online game, or wearing a 'guildtag'.  Friendship.

In a suprise move, her ladyship Yazmin Mor'Aldaron has passed on her powers to a second avatar.  As Disianus remains her right hand in the matters of leadership, the lady has seen fit to raise another to serve as her left.  She has stepped back into the shadows and given her grace to Icefame Nytewish, that he may carry her will into this realm.

Do not fear.  Her ladyship remains within the halls, but has instead choosen to remain cloistered for a time.  Or perhaps fear is indeed needed, for she will as ever retain her sight from the shadows of our halls.

His lordship, Iceflame Nytewish has taken on the title of The Hollowed, Margrave of Espionage.  Seek him out, should you have matters requiring attention, or need an appropriate 'test' of your character.  It is his duty to search out your histories, and see to it that no weaklings remain in our noble house.  So be quick to answer if he requests information.  Your best defense against such an inquisition will of course be a post concerning your background in the archives (RP forum).

Again, congratulations Iceflame Nytewish, The Hollowed.  Let the enemies of Mor'Aldaron tremble, for another great leader has been raised in our ranks!
