I am Livea, leader and founder of the Renegades and, if you’re reading this, I can assume you are inquiring about joining our guild. I would like you to go over a few basic rules we ask folks to observe to make our guild a better place for everyone to come and have a good time gaming.
My first request is that we keep things clean, meaning no in cursing or obscenities in either voice or in guild chat. We do have some younger members as well as some of our folks have children that play from time to time and might have family that are within ear shot of there comp. We also have many older players and Christian members that might take offence to such language. We all get heated at times in game and all I ask is that you don’t press that button while cursing. We would like to maintain a family friendly environment in game.
I would also like to add here we as Renegades have a outstanding reputation on this server and would like to maintain it so please no cursing at other players in game. If you have a problem with someone please see me or an officer we will do what we can to clear up what ever the problem might be. We stand behind our members.
When you are invited to the Renegades please take the time to open the guild window and under your name in comments please add that that character is your main. All, or any alts are welcome in the guild. I do ask is that you log on any that are gilded at least every thirty days. I like to have an active guild roster and would not like to deceive any new members as to our numbers. Too many times people join a guild and are told we have two hundred and fifty accounts and four hundred members and eighty percent of them haven’t logged in years. Anyone that hasn’t logged in over the 30-day time period will be deguilded, however they will be welcome back when they return to game.
Voice chat is a MUST for ALL interviews to applicants to the Renegades!!!!!
Whether or not you chose to ever join it again is your choice but I must say if you have any questions and ask in guild chat you might not get an answer, well at least not very quickly. We are all playing the game and some of us are doing some very difficult things and it’s harder to type out a paragraph or two rather than it is to explain things in voice. So please consider joining Voice chat.
There have been inquiries as to how members obtain rank, I will try to answer that here as best as I can. If it is still unclear, please see me ingame, in voice chat, and I will do my best to clarify.
First off, all new members have access to our guildhall and all its amenities.
Purchasable items from the city merchants are a privilege of rank. We worked hard to get our guild to 80 and are looking forward to the push to 90.obtaining rank within the guild is based on many factors, I cant say do this, this and this and you will move up.
I will post the things I look for in people to move them along:
- helping others
- good guild participation
- being positive and active in guild groups and events
- being a team player (And I don’t mean with the ladies)
And most important…
- being active in voice chat
We are all Renegades, so let’s play as a team.
First, only characters that belong to approved members of a guild are displayed, and they must be entered by the member in their settings. The flag to "Show in Guild Rosters" must be checked, as well.
OR it could the users membership level, if they are marked as associates they may not show up: to fix this the site admin needs to go to “Edit” in the “Roster” tab then click on “display options”. Then check the “Display associates” box -(we have done this.)
Next, if the member belongs to more than one GuildPortal guild, they will need to "Manage Guild Associations" and tell GuildPortal which guilds the character belongs to, in order for GuildPortal to know which guilds should display the data for the character.
