Knights of the Serpent will begin recruiting new members for a new attempt at 10-man raiding.

Interested parties should send an in-game mail to one of the officers (Signu, Sealedfaith, Babyeeter, Fatherrot) to set up a tryout.

Knights of the Serpent will kick off it's end game raiding with 10-man Naxx on January 2nd at 6:30 Mountain Time.

Sealed and I spent today at BlizzCon.  It was AMAZING!  Everything about BlizzCon was absolutely amazing.  The goodie bag has tons of cool stuff like "QQ n00b" tissues, Diablo 3 Sinamints, a Zerg creep, a WoW TCG starter deck, and inflatable Frostmourne or bubble hearthing pally.  Of course, we can't forget the BlizzCon polar bear mount (and murloc passenger) and Starcraft II beta key!

Most of the neat stuff about WotLK has already been released, so most of the cool/new stuff here is Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 (both of which are playable for the first time by anyone outside of Blizzard).

If anyone follows Diablo 3, you know that the first two classes released are the Barbarian and the Witch Doctor.  Today, they released a new class, the Wizard.  The Wizard is a master of magic (Fire, Frost, Lightning, even time/physics).  The Wizard's unveiling cinematic had me in chills.  Sealed and I got a couple of 15min opportunities to play D3.  He played the Witch Doctor and the Wizard.  I played the Barbarian both times (my all time favorite from D2).  From a very basic standpoint, D3 is very similar to D2 in that you just click all over the screen and smash the hell out of everything.  The graphics and effects are just plain amazing.

Starcraft II looks to be a really good game as well.  Sealed and I also got to play a couple head to head matches.  Both times, I was Terran and he was Zerg.  They have kept the same feel to the Terrans while adding a couple really cool units.  The Thor is a giant mech (about the size of two seige tanks) that does incredible damage to ground and air units.  The Viking is an air unit that has the ability to switch into a ground unit.  While airborne, it can attack only air units.  While on the ground, it can only attack other ground units.  This was a very effective unit for dissecting the zerg base as I could swap them to different roles to take out air or ground towers/turrets.

Some of the pictures were taken from my camera phone and came out really poorly.  The ones that look good were probably taken from Sealed's digital camera.
