HAMSTER hits 50's
gdaybloke, Jul 24, 06 4:22 AM.

Thanks to the joys of double-XP weekend, HAMSTER now counts among its ranks four level 50 Heroes Of The City!

Clones everywhere now know and fear their names even more than usual, if that's possible!

Gday, Iniscara, Acoustica and Psylenz: Heroes of the City, Smiters of Clone Villiany.

Sewer Trial Follow-Up
gdaybloke, Apr 13, 06 8:51 PM.

My word... buggiest mission ever. We stroll in the gates - London Steel, Anastasiya, Miss N Control, Tsukikage, Reptile Beauty and myself, and there's no autoexemp (no idea if there was supposed to be) so we SK ourselves up to 50's (possible once CeresCeres and Alaric7 joined in), but... apparently you can't get a particle cannon, the only thing that can hurt the Hydra, unless you're lvl 40ish so everyone who was SKd up to 50 just... wasted the glowie. Fie. I so wanted that Thermite gun thingie....

We get down to the bottom and... we can't see the bloody shield??? No indicator whatsoever that the head of the Hydra is shielded.

After an abortive attempt to shoot the head anyway, we determined that what we were dealing with was simply an invisible shield - the generators still had to come down. Of course, it took a couple of runs at it before everyone on the team understood that the generators had to be taken down simultaneously... heh.

In the end, three badges for all participants - Charmer, Head Of The Hydra, and the Protean gladiator.

Very cool, didn't take long at all; thanks for coming out, those who did!

Trial Time: Caverns of Transcendence Follow-Up
gdaybloke, Apr 6, 06 8:44 PM.

Sam Wincott is free!
Drop Bear led a motley crue of heroes into the Troll Tunnels, into the Transcendent Gateway, and all the way up to Kaogo itself. A jolly goo dtime was had by all, with only half a dozen or so faceplants - a good result, if you ask me!

In attendance were:
Drop Bear (myself), Uncle Yuan, Lionheart, Frost Heave (Ephy), Penta 5 (Marm), Gail Storm (Middy), Jack of Jacks (TT), and FR's newest blaster, Dao.

Med Bay Installed
gdaybloke, Apr 2, 06 11:50 AM.

H.A.M.S.T.E.R. HQ is developing at a slow and steady pace.

Recent visitors to the headquarters may have noticed the installation of both a technological and an arcane worktable, as well as a cozy little book nook. Decoration of the base is taking time and funds from our benefactors, though who at this point are more concerned with our being able to efficiently combat clone villainy, than they are with us looking good, so much of the base is still pretty spartan.

The newest addition is a medical teleporter, hooked in to Paragon's hospital teleportation system. Our facilities are still crude, with only a single examination table and an x-ray device, so truly severe injuries may still require professional attention, but we can now start handling basic medical procedures at the HQ, both taking pressure of Paragon's hospital system and cutting down on down-time for our own wounded agents, as you'll be able to get back into the field faster.

Agents are reminded that these facilities don't come cheap, and our investors expect to see us fighting the good fight and combatting clone villainy - don't forget to wear H.A.M.S.T.E.R.'s logo with pride when out there on the streets.

Time for a Trial Follow-Up
gdaybloke, Mar 30, 06 8:31 PM.

And the Crystal Titan eats our collective dust.

We started a little later than planned, and Libbyator didn't make it in time so Alaric 7 (who needed to the badge anyway) was able to join in for shenanigans.

In the back of the Crystral Titan's chamber we rescued Tundra, Gale, Quill, and Captain I Have A Mental Blank On His Name, before Hamidon's forces could use their evil crystally stuff to clone them.

Big hoopy thanks to all who attended:
Gday (myself)
Atomic Saint (himself)
Mr. Boogeyman (Kid Dynamo)
Tsukikage (Darkhart)
Alaric 7 (himself)
CeresCeres (herself)
Fright Faire (Windy)
Eternal Amazon (High Beam)

Next week: Drop Bear takes on Caverns of Transcendence!
