What the Flux?

Flux is a guild on the side of the alliance in the Medivh server. It was created for the purpose of gathering and organizing skillful players to raid end-game instances (as well as doing stupid things to have fun) while maintaining a flexible structure not present in other guilds. Our members typically raid 3-4 days of the week, typically late at night for players on the east coast and the evening for players on the west coast. We are currently recruiting for 25 man raid positions, so apply if you want to join us (the password is: What the flux?)

Why is Flux a guild for you??

Reason #1. Flexible membership requirements. This is a big one... you don't officially have to join the guild to raid with us. This means that we understand that people have friends outside the guild and that people want to play with their friends. We encourage bringing friends to our raids and guild as we are a guild of friends that want to progress through the end game instances. Therefore, we are open to bringing people from outside the guild to all of our raids. There will be a priority for filling raid spots and reward of course. But if you come with us consistently and perform well you will be offered a place in our guild and will be open to more rewards.

Reason #2. Unique raid times: Even though this server was originally an east coast server, many of our members live on the west coast. Normal guilds raided at times that always started too early or ran to late for it to work for all of us. Thus we formed this guild to raid at time that certain players of both coast can attend. None are mandatory. Just let us know. Most of our raids start in the viscinity of 9:00 - 10:00 PM server time and our raids last typically for 2 - 3 hours.


But...

Caveat #1. We want you to be good. This doesn't mean being number 1 on the damage meters or being the last person to die. We are looking for people who play well in a group. People who are able to manage aggro, avoid mistakes (popped sheep), and follow boss strategies. To build and maintain a synergy between old and new members, we will frequently have guild events to smaller sized instances.
