OK OK - so we cheated. Marakesh, Alydar, and myself ran through VP taking the tour since we really did not get a chance to see it first hand. This is an AMZAZING zone not to mention huge. We could not get everywhere but head to the forums to check out the tour.

Here is a teaser of Hoskar, my last Mythical update. This is one of the few seconds I was actually alive, the rest I was dead flat as a pancake.

I have two pictures that you need to determine the problem with them. Marakesh, Alydar, and I went on a Leviathon run with Troops of Doom - paid travel btw. Here is a damage parse on one of the kills:

Problem: Aly and Marakesh suck. A normal good parse for them, blows in regards to Troops.

Item 2: What is wrong here. My bar is in purple.

I was actually excited that I was 6th on the master list of healers for this raid. I actually contributed. I then realized there were only 5 healers on the raid... I proceed to impale my virtual self on my PGT

New Solo Instance released?

What is this? Some Frog in a solo instance? A Toad that has lost his way? Or some crazy SOB with nothing else to do but tease his death wish. We know he is not in there with friends because he has none. You decide.

Thuuga Me Good!

Well we did it! We did take down Tairiza on teh 3rd shot tonight. In the frenzy of killing, I forgot to take a screen shot. Thanks so much to The Kings Guild for topping us off with toons. Grats to all who got updates: Alydar, Diago, Arrowkeeper, Singedgrizzly, Fridai from TKG, and almost Ziar.

Afterwards we went on a Dominus killing spree and wrecked havoc all across Kunark

Tonight was the second night kick starting our Raid Force. After a great start in PR, we decided to go after Thuuga. She is one nasty $%#%&. The best we did was getting her down to 6%. Great fun was had by all.

All accounts have been updated with an accurate reflection of points earned over the past two nights.

Guild Portal Access

Many toons are now coming to the site to register and join in. When you Cluck "Join Defenders....", it is CRITICAL to send me an ingame message on your Profile name. Many toons are creating profile names that have nothing to do with their ingame character name. I will not be approving profiles if I do not know who they belong to.

Next piece is to click "Characters/Settings" and add your toons. This will help when signing up for raids to identify which toon you intend to bring along.

Dear EQ2 Player,
    Welcome to the Defenders of the Light website. Defenders of the Light is a causal guild that was founded on the EQ2 Guk/Toxxulia Server on December 18, 2004. We are a casual guild that welcomes all players, regardless of level or class. We are older, mature adults that have joined together in order to play EQ2 together, which was made and designed in order to entertain, not become a second job.
    Defenders of the Light is a guild of players on the Guk/Toxxulia Server that pursues the basic principles of truth, honor and loyalty. We encourage our members to tell the truth to each other, honor one another and stand by one another. We believe that by practicing these three virtues, it will allow us to create a truly unique guild that has an undying loyalty to it's members and also from it's members.
    We are a Qeynos based guild, however we accept Freeport citizens. All races, classes, and levels are welcome. We are always searching for players to join our guild that display a higher sense of loyalty to the guild, help balance out the classes in the guild, and willing to assist other guild members in need. We tend to remove anyone from the guild that is self-centered, childish, or worry more about themselves then fellow guild mates. We promote grouping with fellow guild mates above all else, regardless of level. At any given time you might see our members taking part in raids, or mentoring down to help a lower level guild member with Heritage Quests.
    Should you decide to make Defenders of the Light your new guild, you must understand that we have very few rules here. We have an outstanding group of officers, who are committed to the guild, and willing to assist players with any help they might need. Members in the guild earn their own rank advancements by contributing Guild Status Points. The ranks are broken up in tiers. and when a member earns a certain amount of Guild Status Points they get promoted. You earn guild status points by doing writs, heritage quests and raiding.
    Defenders of the Light uses a unique points system tailored to our needs. Members can earn guild points by donating items to the guild, which they can in turn use them to purchase items from the guild. For those members that raid, they also have the opportunity to earn points similar to DKP. There are also opportunities to earn guild points for just taking part in guild events, such as parties, meetings, and contests.
Defenders of the Light also follows the a traditional political structure of having only two guild leaders. There are several officers, and each officer has a duty to the guild. Instead of just making someone an officer, we make them officers only after they have accepted the responsibilities associated with their role. Each officer knows they have certain duties and they are listed on the guild charter..
