Pour la Meute Rebelle; now For the Rebellious Wolfpack, once For the Righteous. Not the first of Her Majesty's armies to lay in tatters for one reason or another. An army, reduced to businessmen. Using their martial talents, they focus on bringing treasures out of the depths of Norrath for those whom they refer to as their 'discerning clientele' - nobility of the cities of the world who may find adventuring distasteful at best. Led by a Templar of Solusek Ro and a Devotee of Mithaniel Marr, the organization is constantly under the scrutiny of Her Majesty's Courts, as rumors have abounded of graverobbing, slave-trading, and many other nefarious - and possibly untrue - deeds that the organization and its members have been a part of. As the Templar is fond of saying, the right thing and the good thing are not always the same thing - though it is a difficult task to tell whether the organization follows the right, the good, or either at all, even with their guild Offices nestled in the quiet park surrounding the Qeynos Concordium.PLEASE READ BELOW IF YOU INTERACT WITH US!
PLMR's RP/RP Combat Rules:
The guild itself, due to it's free-play nature, has no hard and fast set of RP rules that we adhere to when it comes to combat. Some players will /rand. Some players will /emote combats and have it be a game of words versus words. Some players will /duel your butt on the spot regardless of level. Some of them will pick which is appropriate on the spot. There is no way to tell them apart until it happens.
Yes, we may actually have undead who are thousands of years old in our ranks, but they won't be dropping temples on your head the first chance they get. You will get what you receive from those folks in measure to the amount of foolish prodding you may administer. You likely can't tell them apart either.
One thing is a certainty, however. None of us will be god-modding. All of us are defeatable. There is no real winning in roleplay without losing - that is part of the story. This includes games of intrigue, flat out combats, etcetera.
When it comes to the rest. Leave OOC drama out of it. It won't be tolerated or played with.
Yes, you can be lied to, and the player won't tell you OOC. You can be manipulated. You can be toyed with. You could, also, be told the truth. There is no way to tell it apart. Welcome to the true suspension of belief. If you're sitting at your computer utterly surprised because your best friend just stabbed you in the back and they're wearing a PLMR guild-tag, keep the OOC complaints to them -- or me -- out of it. You were playing your character. They were playing theirs. This is true roleplay; the rest is scriptwriting. It doesn't mean we won't script or OOC flex our roleplay -- just don't expect it. Most of us just don't find it fun.
Yes. We play free-form. This means that when it comes to plotlines with set outcomes, we are wildcards. If you do not feel you are flexible enough to deal with a wildcard in your deck, keep this strongly in mind when doing anything more serious than having a drink with us.
And yes, we will be more serious than having drinks.
