We've finally put the massive Prestige pay-out to good use.  We now have 20 telepads in the base.  They should be fully configured by Tuesday, January 15th.

The PvP Event Committee (aka "PvPEC") has put up a site on GuildPortal. 

Given the amount of testing needed for Issues 9 and 10, the PvP community has had to schedule events on the public servers instead of relying on the Training Room (Test Server) as their home base.  This is actually great news for us, since it means we can plan to participate in these events without having to set our PCs up to access the Training Room.

The ad directs us to find threads on the server-specific parts of the City Message Boards (Justice, Liberty), but the best place to look may actually be the Events List on the PvPEC's own site.

A lot of organized PvP takes place on the Training Room (the test server) just so that the events can draw participants from all of the servers.  This summer's official PvP event series is no exception.

However, the early informational meetings are happening on all of the servers.  For Justice, we can attend meetings in Pocket D at these times:

• Sunday, May 27th at 6pm PST/9pm EST
  
• Wednesday, May 30th at 6pm PST/9pm EST

We have to look for someone named "SmokeSignal."

It turns out that Liberty is hosted in Virginia and Justice is hosted in California. 

I don't notice worse lag when we play on Justice (just the opposite, actually), but I still wish I'd known this a few years ago.  Why not play on the server that is geographically closest?
