It means that although everyone wishes to be the best in the game, it is still just a video game. Real life always take precedence over gaming, but while I'm gaming, I plan to do my absolute best.

Do you like to participate more in PVP or PVE? Explain.

I'd say I am more PVE oriented. I like the idea of bringing down BAMs with a group of friends and reaping the rewards.

In the past, I've played SWTOR for several months, and I've played about 3 years on WoW

Not going to lie to any of you I've always been a caster in WoW and currently in Aion, but... TERA... why not dive into something so new and fresh and have a complete turn around? That is th way I see it at the moment.

Yes have been using TS and Ventrillo for years.

WoW wise I was always a PvEr in Aion more of a PvPer since the game pushes its players so hards towards PvP

Started playing MechWarrior 3 back when I was in HS. Took a long break after then ventured into WoW many years after, spent 4 years there on and off, now have been playing Aion for 6 months

EST [I live in Florida], mostly late afternoon and evening time

I've been a utility player for the most part: you need me to help? I'll never say no.

Hey guys just dropping by to say hi, and make sure you guys havent forgot about me ^_^ (and making sure that you guys know that i have not forgotten about you guys). I am very happy with how much the guuild has grow over the last few months even to the point where i typed in "grav" on google and the the outo-complete filled in "graviora manent tera guild". so im guessing that the google notariability is pretty fucking cool. On another note, im just letting you guys know that ill be formally attempting to rejoing your ranks once tera launch date is announced and i can get my hands on something palatable. Not a whole lot to say of myself. I'm a writer, mostly fantasy, but I have written outlines for romance, sci-fi, and horror novels as well.

Currently a Nursing student. Being a nurse means job security, helping make a difference, and good pay with the option to travel anywhere in the world, so I feel like it's a good supplement until I become a world-class author.

I plan on playing Amani or Castanics because they look pretty cool. I'll be playing as male since I'm male IRL.

I'm 22, live in KY in the USA, and have been gaming forever, like most everyone else here, and I'm extremely religious, though I do not preach at or to others who do not wish to hear it. I believe the most harm a Christian can do is to shove the word of God down the throats of people who seriously don't want to listen. It paints us all as being arrogant doom-sayers and will do far more harm to the cause than good.

Ah, I think the Elin race is non-sense and it's garnered me a lot of dislike in the Tera forums, but honestly, what game designers takes a race that's supposed to represent the ageless, powerful avatars of Nature and turns them into an EXCLUSIVELY female race of small children? That just seems ridiculous to me. I will not grief anyone who plays Elin though, it's just a personal opinion.

I'm pretty laid-back, even if parts of my introduction have people thinking I won't be. I like to chat with others and I love to crack jokes. If anyone has any other questions, feel free to post, or pm me or whatever. Also, I'm not sure about all the privacy rules for the guild or whatever, so if you'd like to add me on facebook or something, pm me and I'll send you the link. I look forward to working with you guys in game and turning us into the top guild in NA and the world!

Honestly, it varies depending on the day. The classes I've been most captivated by are, Slayer, Priest, and Archer.

What style of player are you? (Support, Tank, DPS, Etc)

I like being reliable support or DPS. Honestly, I just like being there to help my allies when they need it. Sometimes that is accomplished with healing and buffing, other times its done by drawing aggro when a team mate is at a disadvantage. I don't just play games to have fun, I play them for a sense of adventure and commraderie.

Do you have a mic and are familiar with voice chat protocol programs? (Mumble)

I have never used Mumble per se, but I'm familiar with Skype, and Ventrilo, and I think I could learn Mumble pretty easily if required. I have a mic yes, and hopefully very soon I will have a much better one.

Why do you want to be a member of Graviora Manent?

SocietyX told me about the guild on my introduction post on the Tera forums and when I read some of what the guild is about and how it approaches the game of Tera, it sounded EXACTLY like what I was looking for; a group filled with like minded gamers. A clan of respect, dedication, drive, and friendship.

How can you contribute to making us better?

Skill. I've been a gamer all my life, and while I haven't played Tera yet, I'm a fast learner. Not just on how to play a game, but how to understand mechanics, and how to think outside the box when it comes to creative ways to use skills and approach dungeons. More importantly though, I WANT to contribute and that in itself means that I am free to be molded.

Yes, it was very well written, and the introduction is what kept me reading through the rest.

Indeed. It means that there is a defined goal, and that it isn't to be forgotten, but that the best way to be the best, is to play the game like you're playing with friends. Friends are people you can laugh with, people you aren't afraid of being judged by, people you can trust, and people you match. The best way to reach the top, is to make sure everyone balances and supports each other. It won't be hardcore 24/7, but the goal will never be forgotten, either.

Do you like to participate more in PVP or PVE? Explain.

PVE. I like fighting against other players and testing build and personal control, but games like this are epic because of their setting. Teams of 6-8 people fighting together to take down a massive dragon that is responsible for wreaking havoc across a kingdom you are sworn to protect are epic. The grit, the sense of accomplishment, and the raw feel of battle like that are much more exciting than fighting other people who are likely to troll hard if they lose. Fighting massive monsters with your team mates is pretty freaking awesome.

What is some of your gaming history?

I've been gaming since Atari. The first system I actually bought myself was the SNES, which I bought when I was 7, with a little help from my parents yes, but the money that bought it was mine! I've played console games for years, and I've become fairly handy at them. I'm good. I recently upgraded my PC to an Alienware Aurora in preparation for Diablo 3 and Tera, so I'm seriously invested. I love Starcraft 2, the Diablo franchise, LOTRO, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and I love everything I've seen of Tera so far. I'd also love to play on other games with people I meet here as well, but I have no trouble being fully dedicated to maximizing our potential in Tera. In fact, the idea of being with a guild from the moment a game launches till the point in the future that we become number one is thrilling. I love it! I'd love to say I was a senior member here since the very start. I'd be proud to say so, in fact.

What is your timezone / playing hours?

It will depend entirely on when the game is released. My timezone is Eastern Standard. I'm still a student in college, so that may very well get in the way sometimes. Currently I'm working hard on getting published as author with a fairly large company, and if that happens, you can bet I'll have a lot more free time for gaming, because that's my dream job. If I get that, I'm not letting something shitty like school get in my way.

Any additional comments?

I have never been a part of guild before, but you guys are exactly what I've been looking for. I know I might not have a lot to convince you that I'd be a valuable addition, but give me a chance and I promise I'll do everything in my power to make sure you don't regret it. I'm willing to work both inside the game, and outside. I'll help in any way I can.
