The Future

So current plans are to reveal the project we been working on this Saturday! I want to thank you all for your patience as we work on this but it's a pretty big undertaking for us and we're doing it all for the guild! I know we have been lax on being apart of the guilds activities outside of it as officers and myself as GM but I wanted to get this project completed ASAP. Coming into next week things will return to a more 'normal' pace and recruitment will be going hard again. Once again thank you all for your patience and more announcements will be coming in next 24-48 hours that will be very important to the guilds future.

As promised I told you we would move quickly to move past the old and in with the new. The first stages were our updates in recruitment both graphically and functionally. The second step is now appointing someone who has the talents and dedication to make use of those improvements in our recruitment process.

So congratulations go out to Reiko aka Kim who has been appointed as our new Admin Officer. Let's all try to support her as we once did Blossym to go out there and help us recruit some good potential applicants. TERA is getting closer everyday and we want to be prepared with good solid core of members before OBT and the eventual launch.

Reiko has a lot of relevant experience as she recruited a successful 90 man Aion legion before retiring from it. She also did a lot of leadership and raid leading in games such as WoW for top tier raiding guild for long time. She's also one of our oldest and most loyal members to date and always eager to assist people in our time in K-TERA.

So Congrats again to Reiko, hope you can handle my harassment :P

Recruitment Updates

After much work put into things this weekend focused on the guild your friendly neighborhood officer team has come up with some much needed improvements to our recruiting tools and process. First being our recruitment post has been dramatically updated and improved as seen here..

We also re-wrote some of our application and added better questions that should hopefully allow us to do a better job of weeding out bad applicants and letting good applicants shine even more. With these changes I'm looking forward to how our recruiting will progress in coming weeks!

Moving Forward

As many people already know we've gone through some changes here in Graviora Manent lately with the leaving of some officers and moving forward looking for replacements. We've also been discussing alot of our plans internally as to where we plan to go from here and how we'll approach TERA when it launches in light of new information. Recently BlueHole enlightened all of us with a lot of exciting information and news concerning TERA that has many of our mouths watering!

With that being said, things will continue to move forward around here. Soon we will updating many things around the website and about our recruitment to more specifically channel what we're about here to make sure we're getting the best members to fit our group.

I also had to create a new Facebook group so that control of it would stay in hands of people who're actually in the guild. This is something I should have insisted on a long time ago but I let it slip and I apologize for inconvience of making everyone change over now. Once you see this or the message I left on Facebook please leave the old group and only post in the new one. Also if you're not currently apart of the group either new or old please let me know and we'll get you added if you want to be. I encourage everyone to be apart of it since it's alot of fun to share videos, links, etc and comment together.

Forsaken World

As many are already aware we now playing Forsaken World as a good time waster for the next couple of months! If you aren't already there with us I expect you to make an effort very soon to be. I want all of us to play together as a guild and work on our teamwork and communication! It's a pretty fun little F2P and pretty complete MMO as far as F2P's go.

Updates

It's been a busy last couple of months around here and things continue to look up for the crew at GM. We've now spent over 2 months worth of time testing out TERA thoroughly from it's low level PVE to it's end game PVP. So far most of us only continue to grow more and more excited about the prospects of North American release. Though the game is not perfect we look eagerly ahead to the future Bluehole will forge through its updates between now and NA. Though our presence has dwindled a bit with the loss of our beloved English patch (QQ) and just general desire of many members not to burn themselves out on the game before NA, we are setting our sights on new horizons to fill our time!

Right now we've been coop demolishing some games like Borderlands, Bloodline Champions, and more. And also many of us look forward to some of the epic games being released in the coming months such as Dragon Age 2, The Witcher 2, and Shogun Total War 2.. We also are considering a run into a temporary MMO to help fill up the time and keep us sharp. Forsaken World perhaps?

So now is still a great time to join up with us! We're always planning out new events for everyone to enjoy and looking for new challenging games to keep us growing as individual players. The best is yet to come for us here at GM! Many thanks go out to those members who have worked hard during this period helping to write guides, answer questions, post videos, and participated in guild activity. You all have my endless gratitude and you are the reason we will be great.

Graviora Manent's Success

Graviora Manent has been steadily growing stronger each week since it's founding a few months ago.

With great leadership, and dedicated members... we've proven to ourselves and the TERA community, that we are a force to be reckoned with. We will only continue to develop and grow as a more than just a guild, but as a family too. I'm proud of the direction we have taken as a guild, and only hope that we will continue to advance in a positive way that will influence our TERA community greatly. I have no doubt in my mind that with the release of NA TERA we will surely climb to the top of the ranks.

With such a big success in the KOBT, Graviora Manent is becoming more recognized as a North American PVP guild... with a plethora of YouTube videos, forum threads and responses posted by our members. The presence of our guild in the TERA community has been strong these past few weeks! And this presence should not fade with the ending of KOBT. No! In fact... we're just getting started~

Admin Officer

As of now the Administration Officer position has been filled by our very own Tits McGee! I mean.. Blossym/FallNSkye/Morgan. She's stepped up huge as of late to contribute to the recruiting effort, been active in the forums, and vocal in ways to improve the flow and organization of the forums. These are all duties expected of an Admin Officer and she's been stepping up to perform them without being asked. She will now be assisting me in recruitment, moderating of the forums, news updates, and more. Please Congratulate her on this promotion and look forward to seeing her efforts shine through as GM moves into next stages!

State of the Guild

State of the Guild

This post is to give a brief status of the guild update. In this last month or so we have filled 2 of our 3 officer positions. Blayde was promoted to PVE Officer and Pyro promoted to PVP Officer. Congratulations again go out to both of them and the job they've done so far has been excellent.

We have also acquired a good amount of new members and generated alot of interest in the community. Ever since I started pressing upon members the importance of forum activity and bumping our recruitment posts I have seen a staggering increase in our presence in the forums and the interest being shown toward guild. Keep up the excellent work and if you're not visiting our threads or posting in our forums than you NEED to be doing so. This guild can't be great unless every member does their part, and I know who's not doing their part. I won't let lazy people capitalize off the hard working in this guild.

We also reached a major milestone in the guilds early stages. Our homepage passed over 10,000 views! This is alot of activity to the site and a long way from where we started with just me and Nectemar. This is a direct result of the hard work of bumping our threads and our activity in forums. Keep this up!

Also I've sent out a message to some members regarding their activity levels. Come new year we fully expect things to ramp up in the TERA world starting with confirmed Korean OBT. That means expectations on you as members goes up. I've been a bit slack so far because I didn't want to demand things from people when TERA was ways off. However, now TERA is not so far off and thus the demands on you to be considered a productive member of this guild will be raised. I have high hopes for all of you to rise to and exceed these guidelines. You know who you are.

Also there still remains one Officer position open. The Administrative Officer will be someone who helps me handle recruiting, makes news posts about happenings in the guild, keeps our recruitment posts up to date, stays active in all forums and just generally assists in keeping our presence in the community and our PR image strong. It's a demanding position that is of great importance to the guilds growth and success. I will be keeping an eye out for people who might potentially fill this position well and if you are interested, then contact me and maybe we can discuss why you may or may not be a good fit.

Thanks and once again Happy Holidays to everyone. Remember what our Creed says - "Together through dedication and perseverance, we can overcome any odds, face down any danger, and excel to being the best at whatever we set our horizons toward." That means it takes all of us to accomplish these goals. Together and united, we cannot be stopped.

More Officers

This is a little delayed but I think it's about time to make it official. Frozensmoke aka Blayde has been chosen to be our first PVE Officer. From day one that I recruited Frozen he was very passionate about his desire to lead in PVE and with his background in large raiding content from games like EQ2 where he was a raid officer, I have high hopes for his job qualifications.

To put it out in simple terms, Blayde is now in charge of everything to do with PVE. He will be focusing on learning the instances, their level requirements, loot tables, boss strategies, world boss if there is any.. etc. If you have a PVE question come launch it should be directed to Blayde and he will be responsible for having the answer or finding out.

Congratulations to Blayde!

The Winter season is always a nice time of the year! There's always fun to be had, whether its enjoying hot cocoa on a cold snowy night or rubbing your eyes after waking up early on Christmas morning. So to get us all in the spirit, I remodeled the website to show some Christmas cheer!

Updates To Media

So the much asked for Media updates are beginning to Arrive! Cruise on over to the Media section to check out the newly added galleries as well as Media Player. They're not 100% setup and the gallery needs your guys input obviously in the form of pics! I uploaded a few 'test pics' from peoples facebooks to the member pics section to test everything out, I can remove them upon request if people care :P But go check em out!

Officer

This is a tiny bit delayed but I was waiting a little bit for some good reasons. I want to officially announce Pyro as the first officer to be promoted in the Guild. Pyro will be taking up the responsibility of PVP Officer from now on in the guild. Due to his dedication of being highly active in the guild and discussing sometimes at great length our plans for PVP he has proven himself worthy of the position. So Congratulations to Pyro!

What this means in simple terms is that when we get into Beta and start testing out PVP, I will be depending on Pyro to organize us during PVP and work on the tactics that will separate us from just another unorganized guild. So expect Pyro to be discussing tactics and giving out orders come Beta and beyond. In this particular realm of the guilds management he is your new God ;)

There's still openings for the PVE and Admin officers for now, so if you had your sights set on promotion don't give up hope yet. Still going to be looking for good people to fill these roles during beta if possible so we can launch fully organized. Congrats again to Pyro.
