Well, I've not improved so I'm going to see my doctor first thing in the morning. Ok, Not first thing, the stupid useless bastard doesn't open 'till 9AM.
Now, This doctor and I have a history. I get sick, hurt or whatever... and this idiot perscribes antibiotics.
"Doctor, I've broken my finger!"
"Amoxyllin! Three capsules a day!"
"But... That... It... Look, I'm no medical professional, but I've seen enough episodes of House, E.R., Scrubs and the occasional soap opera to be able to say I'm qualified enough to say that that, good sir, is bullshit. You, sir, fucking fail."
So clearly I'm not bubbling with confidence in this man's ability.
Now, My concern is that I have appendicitis, I've likely spelled that wrong, but really, I'm in too much pain to care.
My grandfather on my mother's side died of a burst appendix. I don't believe it's a hereditary trait, or even know if it is possible to inherit "Explosive appendix genes", however, I rather hope I'm just worrying over nothing.
A nothing that has left me clutching my abdomen in pain for the last 32 hours.
Yes, I've had cramps and pains before. This feels different. This worries me.
To be honest, this feels so different that it scares the hell out of me.
I'm not a doctor person. If I'm sick, I'll whinge and bitch, but I won't see a doctor. I woke up thismorning lathered in a cold sweat with sharp, twisting pain in my stomach. Pain that wouldn't go away.
I need to see a doctor.
Now, on a comparatively lighter note, hereforth is the first installment of my Retail Retards feature. This one actually happened today.
He likes pens.
A customer came into the bookstore today, a gentleman in his mid thirties, as a guess, possibly his early forties. He went straight to the pen cabinet (Over which I was unfortunately repricing some children's books.) and asks to see not one, not two, not three.... But EIGHT pens.
Normal enough, People like to get a feel of the pens they're buying. They want better looks at them. They want to know the warranty (*Twitch* More on this in a later installment) and they want to know the ink color.
Fine, Normal.
At the fifth pen, this man starts telling me he collects pens. Repeatedly. This man claims to have several hundred pens. From almost every country in the world. He has apparantly attended an auction and purchased an eighty year old pen for several thousand dollars. He even went on to say that he has little cabinets in which he stores his pens.
So what I'm gathering thus far, is that this man has obsessive compulsive disorder, and instead of say... collecting stupid amounts of books like a certain rogue-tank you all know and hopefully love... He spends obscene amounts on pens.
The gentleman ended up buying seven pens, and we're not talking about your "12 pack of plastic Bic pens". We're talking expensive Parkers, Inoxcroms and Shaffers. Some of these pens sell for $50-$110 at full price (All of our pens are discounted, as we get them in bulk order from our warehouses).
The seven pens ended up being just under $200 all up.
"He really likes pens..."
I think I'm dying...

Ughhhh! This post is notification that should I not appear on WoW over the course of the next week, I have died horribly and painfully of an exploded appendix.

I've made it no secret that I work in the retail industry, as such, I deal with the bottom rungs of society. All of the weird and not-so-wonderful social misfits and mentally incomplete.
So I figure, from time to time, I'll offer a "Retail Retards" post, A brief glimpse through the eyes of your lovable rogue-tank as she does her money-earning at the bookstore.
These tales are 100% true, Some of them are too strange to make up!
Anyway, I'll likely have other little features... But meh. Anyways. That's my announcement, Back to playing my RP alt!
