Q: How Do I Add Channels to My Ventrilo Server?

  1. Right click inside Ventrilo, and go to "Channel Admin", then "Create."
  2. Enter the channel name, then click OK.

You will need to be logged in as an administrator in Ventrilo.

To Login as An Administrator in Ventrilo: 

You will need to log in as an administrator once inside Ventrilo (not as part of the connection properties).  To do so, connect using the regular server password that is needed by all users, as configured by you in the Ventrilo Server section of your Control Panel (unless the password is blank).  Then, right-click the Server Name node in the Ventrilo client window (it's the one with the computer icon next to it).  A menu will appear.  Hover over Server Admin, and then click Login.  Use the Server Admin Password as configured in the Control Panel, under Ventrilo Server.

After that is done, additional options underneath Server Admin, Channel Admin, and other areas on the right-click menu will become enabled.
